Great things are happening for me this week! I can’t wait to share them all here 🙂
One not so great thing that’s happened to me this week is the return of my scratchy throat and stuffy nose. Sigh. Colds aren’t cool. Fortunately, I’ve been using Chestal to cure my cough. Chestal honey temporarily relieves cough and scratchy throat. It’s all natural and tastes like honey and it works. I took 1oml for 8 hours a few days ago and it helped me feel 100% better. I also appreciate how I experienced no side effects. I didn’t get drowsy at all and the medicine doesn’t have a gross aftertaste.
I got my bottle of Chestal Honey from Blogalicious. I am not a fan of medicine. Usually, when I get sick I try to wait it out by doing everything I can to avoid taking medicine. I like how Chestal is homeopathic. Have you ever heard of homeopathy? It’s a therapeutic method using natural substances in small doses to treat acute health conditions. I’ve used homeopathic methods to treat allergies, stress and pains in the past. If you want to learn more about Chestal and the company that makes it (Boiron), make sure to visit the website for information on where to buy and coupons (who doesn’t appreciate a coupon :)). Would you try Chestal? Aside from taking Chestal I need to:
1. Stop walking around the house without slippers
2. Start wearing my coat and sleeves
Simple things that I don’t always do.
In other news, I’m doing my first fundraising effort for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! In April, I will be running the Nike Women’s Half in DC with Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
I mentioned it before but now I’m in the planning phases of putting together some fun initiatives to bring awareness to Leukemia and Lymphoma and fund raise! Have you ever done fundraising? I’d love some ideas/suggestions. If you know of any businesses interested in donating items for a silent auction, let me know: thegreatdanaj{at}gmail.com.
More tomorrow!
