We are halfway through the year 2011 and I’ve attended 3 weddings already. Actually, I’ve attended four if watching “The Royal Wedding” counts for anything. All three, or four, of these occasions were dramatically different and unique. But the common theme of love and fellowship reigned supreme at all of them. Six months into this year and there have been break ups, dates and a ridiculous amount of text messages. As an unmarried person I can’t help but wonder sometimes, What Makes True Love? You know the romantic kind you see in movies like The Notebook or that romantic viral proposal created by Matt for Ginny. Where do things like that come from? I don’t have the answer for you. But maybe Tiffany & Co. does. This week they launched a new website and app called What Makes Love True to capture romantic tales and answer the question for us all.
On the website and app they reveal what makes true love true from different couples. You can share your own love story and place your initials on places that were special to your relationship. I like the website because you can watch other people’s stories and learn about their experiences. The website also offers tips on romantic places to go in New York, timeless love songs and sage advice on what to do when love gets “serious”. This site and app are appealing to both men and women. For guys who don’t have a clue how to be romantic, it’s a great resource to get tips from. And for women who are hopeless romantics, it’s a fun appealing site to look at and explore!
What do you think about the Tiffany & Co. What Makes True Love website and app?
